E-learning: Texunatech joins forces with ALISON

Texunatech have entered into partnership with ALISON, the world’s leading online education provider based in Galway, Ireland with registered customers in many countries and territories worldwide. ALISON delivers interactive certifiable and standards-based learning in many subjects, concentrating on essential life and workplace skills.

This partnership delivers the unique combination of ALISON’s e-learning expertise with Texunatech’s experience in delivering data management solutions for the learning and skills sector. Initially the partnership will focus on the UK and Ireland learning and skills sectors. In the longer term, the strategic vision of both companies will be promoted internationally.

SIR data collection 2007-08 started

Lifelong Learning UK has announced the beginning of Staff Individualised Records data collection for year 2007-08. The collection process will go on till November 1, 2008, encompassing data submission, data cleansing, collation, analysis and reporting for the Further Education (FE) sector.

This is the first collection managed by a new online data collection system developed by Texunatech in partnership with LLUK and officially launched earlier this month. More information about the SIR data collection can be found on the LLUK web-site.

LLUK staff individualised record collection system go live

Texunatech are very excited to announce that the LLUK production system went live today, 28th July. The project team are looking forward to the next project phase, the data collection phase, which will commence in August and last through the Autumn. The staff individualised record collection system is a new initiative for LLUK and the data that will be collected will provide quantitative data to support and strengthen the strategic objectives of the organisation.

New Texunatech office opens up in Cork

With a new office now opening in Cork, Ireland, Texunatech are gearing up to provide service operations and technology solutions in the Republic of Ireland.

Following an intensive recruitment campaign, Texunatech’s Cork-based office has been established and our staff are ready to begin supporting existing Texunatech clients with a global presence in Latin America, Europe, the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland.

Accepted as a supplier that can use the N3 network

Texunatech has now been officially accepted as a supplier that can use the N3 network.

N3 provides fast, broadband networking services to the NHS, offering reliability and increase security.

Texunatech has successfully completed the NHS Connecting for Health Information Governance Statement of Compliance migration process, and can now be treated as a Commercial Third Party (CTP).

Texunatech wins DCSF contract

The contract for development of EduBase data management system for the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has been awarded to Texunatech. MLA solution go live

Data analyser solution for the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) has been commissioned. This Soltex-based solution includes data warehouse to accumulate and update the data on museums, libraries and archives; and online-reporting portal to analyse these datasets subject to access rights.

Online reporting tool for the MLA public portal allows viewing predefined reports and constructing custom queries for sophisticated analysis.

Texunatech wins contract from Lifelong Learning UK

Texunatech has won the tender to design, develop, rollout and manage a new staff individualised record (SIR) collection system for Lifelong Learning UK — the Sector Skills Council responsible for the professional development of all those working in community learning and development, further education, higher education, libraries, archives and information services, and work based learning across the UK.

Under this contract Texunatech is to develop a new version of data collection and analysis system to handle staff records for lifelong learning providers in the UK. The new system will leverage existing LLUK legacy data and allow online data collection and validation through provider portals with automated workflow; online reporting tool to analyse staff records and CRM component with continuous hepldesk support.
