Texuna Technologies ‘in the Green’
Texuna Technologies was founded in London by twin Corkonians in 2000 as an alternative software house for the government sector. Longing to return home and building on eight years of success, Texunatech opened an Irish office in Cork in May 2008. Starting with a single employee they have invested half a million euros to bring the core IT operations to the Cork region. Minister Eamon Ryan, the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources accompanied by Senator Dan Boyle recently toured the Texunatech operations centre at the end of April.
Texunatech’s Cork office has grown from one employee in 2008 to an expected growth of 25 employees in 2010. As a group we expect to increase staffing globally by 20% in 2010.
Today, Texuna are a strong player in the education sector providing data warehousing services to a number of government bodies and government departments. World class customer service and exemplary process solutions are core business products. Texunatech are a ‘Can Do’ software company that offers bespoke data management services with start to end facilities. Texunatech’s Cork office champion the facilitated business services to such customers in the government sector such as Health and Safety Authority in Ireland, Department of Children Schools and Families in the UK and the Training Development Agency for Schools in the UK. The Cork expansion will focus on facilitated business services in Ireland.
Texuna Technologies is a privately held company, a success story in the competitive software and service industry with offices in London UK, Moscow Russia, Recife Brazil and Cork Ireland. The group had a turnover of two million euros in 2009.
