Publication
Soltex platform is specifically targeted to deliver large volumes of complicated information to stakeholders and public in a convenient and intuitive manner. The Soltex publication module supports multiple instances of a site aimed at differing audiences with distinct levels of data access. Typically, a public portal would offer:
- Datasets that may be viewed and exported (for example, as MS Excel spreadsheets or PDF);
- OLAP reporting engine allowing visitors to view and export pre-configured ad-hoc reports or build new reports displayed as tables, charts, graphs, diagrams etc.;
- Access management system to provide different categories of visitors with access to defined sets of functions and datasets. This can be combined with an online payments solution (optional) allowing visitors to be charged for delivered or exported data;
- Content Management System (CMS) allowing an administrator to publish new or update existing site pages as and when required without the need for a system downtime.
