Validation

Soltex provides both client-side and server-side validation of submitted records and datasets. Data providers are given instant access to validation reports on the data they have submitted or are in the process of submitting. These validation reports are highlighted to indicate areas where data appears either erroneous, inconsistent or unusual. If a validation check is not able to be passed, the data provider is then able to drill down into a suspicious record directly from the validation report, where the problem can be identified and rectified prior to the submission being made again. The automatic validation reporting process increases data accuracy and ensures the completeness of datasets for reporting.

Soltex validation rules and data acceptance thresholds can be configured by our client’s data manager, who can access these via way of the data management portal. This feature alleviates the burdens on data providers and substantially reduces data warehouse upkeep costs whilst increasing data collection speed and efficiency.
